Book Review: Journible the 17:18 Series: Acts

The purpose of the Journible is two-fold.  The scribe should be "slowly and thoughtfully engage the text while leaving plenty of room to write comments and questions about the text."  Secondly, Journibles "provide a legacy to pass on from one generation to the next.

The book itself is beautiful.  Its strong construction and yet delicate detailing on the pages makes writing the Word of God pleasant.  The right side of the book provides more than ample room to right down the verses with enough room to spare in some cases.  The left hand side contains some questions and provides cross references for further study.  The fact that these are questions and not commentaries make the reading and studying more enjoyable because the scribe is left to think and not just take someone else's interpretation as fact.

This would make a great gift or addition to one's personal library.  While not a Bible study per se, it is a wonderful tool to delve into the Word of God.

I received complimentary copy of this book from Cross Focused Reviews in exchange for an independent and unbiased review.
