Five Minute Friday--Focus

Sometimes it's hard to focus on the tasks at hand.  So I try to juggle as much as I can without letting anyone or anything fall.

But am I really focused?

My desire is not to loose focus.  For my eyes to remain permanently on Jesus NO MATTER WHAT.  Because at the end of the day, the juggling must come to an end.  And what will really remain is whether or not my focus what placed correctly on HIM or other things.

To follow Jesus you MUST be focused.  Look what happened to Peter as he walked on the water?  Loosing focus almost caused him to drown.  But he was wise enough to call on Jesus to help him.

If we've lost focused let us do the same.  Let us call on Jesus for help, place and keep our focus back on HIM.

Five Minute Friday

  1. It's easy to say but it's so hard to do, isn't it? But when you realize your need to focus on Jesus—like you have—no matter how many times you stumble and slip into the water, you'll remember to raise up your hand and he pull you back into the boat. God bless.

  2. Praise the Lord! Is good and refreshing to know that whether you lose focus in a task or in life the Lord is there to pick us up as long as we are willing to to raise our hands and voices to Him!

  3. Good example with Peter on what happens when we take our eyes off the Lord... Great post :)

    1. Thank you Kathleen for your encouragement:)

  4. I find that when my eyes are fixed on Him it is easier to walk in the Spirit and I am much better off by not satisfying the desires of my flesh.

May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer. Psalm 19:14
