Doesn't Matter

Red Poppies And A Dramatic Sunset Sky

It does not matter what I don't have, it matters who I have
It does not matter who I was, it matters whose I am
It does not matter what I lost, because I've gained it all in HIM!

So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

2 Corinthians 4:18

  1. What pretty and most of all true words.
I reflect on whose I am instead of who I was.
I had to ask the Holy Spirit to renew my mind on that one. The enemy tried to have me focus on who I was. But I KNOW I am a new creature in CHRIST!!!!

  2. It's good that the enemy reminds us who we were so we can remember the great mercy and love God has shown us (also keeps us real humble). When I look back on who I was and compare it to what the Lord has made me into, all I can say is, "To God be the Glory!!!! You are All Powerful and Almighty!!!!"

May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer. Psalm 19:14
